ABS-CBN's Jorge Cariño flew to Singapore this morning for what would've been an exclusive report on former President Joseph Estrada. Cariño caught up with Erap at Changi International Airport.
Estrada said that he'll be on Singapore for a two-day trip, (short transcript below)
Erap: “Well, for vacation lang. I was invited by an old friend.”
Jorge: “So mga ilang araw po ang pasyal niyo dito?”
Erap: “Up until Sunday lang, mga 2 days.”
Jorge: “Wala naman kayong planong magpagamot?”
Erap: “Wala.”
This "exclusive" report also made it on TV5's Aksyon with Aksyon Journalismo anchor Jove Francisco also reporting in Singapore.
There seems to be this too much usage of the word exclusive by the Big 3 news networks. Maybe, "exclusive video" would've been a better label for Carino's report.
Update: Net 25's Mata ng Agila, also made a report last night re: former President Erap's visit in Singapore.
