KC Concepcion, Agnes Monica, Jaclyn Victor Sing “Together We Will Shine”

Megastar daughter KC Concepcion, Malaysian belter Jaclyn Victor and Indonesian actress-singer Agnes Mojica performed “Together We Will Shine” at the opening ceremonies of the 26th Southeast Asian Games in Palembang, Indonesia Friday night.

After the performance, KC tweeted, “Backstage i was just so nervous performing in front of an int'l crowd..but once we stepped out on stage, I was just so PROUD TO BE PiNOY! :)”

ABS-CBN News reported that Concepcion explained how overwhelmed she was by the experience.

“Sa backstage pa lang, bago kami mag-start, talagang kinakaban ako kasi this is the biggest international crowd I’ve ever been to. At nung lumabas na kami, talagang kita mo naman na parang times five ng Araneta Coliseum at kasama ko pa mga major stars from Indonesia, ng Malaysia,” she said.

Concepcion said she sought for inspiration from her fellow Filipinos who are be representing the country in the SEA Games, the report added.

"I just thought of all the Filipinos who are part of this, ‘yung sacrifice nila bilang mga atleta. Inisip ko para sa bayan talaga ito. I was so proud to be Pinoy and be part of such a major event,” she said. “It was such an honor.”
