Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio, Joyce Ching and Kristoffer Martin Topbill "Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin" Remake

Beginning October 10, GMA-7 revitalizes one of its most memorable primetime dramas with the remake of Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.

The 2011 version stars Kapuso Tweens Barbie Forteza, Joshua Dionisio, Joyce Ching and Kristoffer Martin, and will air in the afternoon block after Pahiram ng Isang Ina.

Having been part of several top-rating programs, and recently, of the movie Tween Academy, all four have proven their bankability and huge fan base. They now have the opportunity to appear in this original GMA drama, which had such a strong following when it first aired ten years ago.

The original version starred Angelika dela Cruz, Sunshine Dizon, Sherwin Ordoñez, and Cogie Domingo, whose careers skyrocketed after appearing in “ILAM”. In this modern remake, Barbie will play Angelika’s role as Mylene/Catherine, the rightful heiress of the Fuentebellas, while Joyce will assume Sunshine’s character as Clarissa, Mylene’s cousin who will pose as Mylene. On the other hand, Joshua takes on the role of Sir Charles, Katherine’s compassionate neighbor portrayed in the original version by Sherwin, while Kristoffer will star as Jepoy, Clarissa’s best friend who will eventually fall in love with her, as originally played by Cogie.

Completing the cast are other reputable names in the industry including Gardo Versoza as Ferdinand, Mylene/Katherine’s rich father, Sheryl Cruz as Amara Luna, Ferdinand’s manipulative sister, Tanya Garcia as Lilian, Mylene/Katherine’s poor mother whom Amara Luna dislikes, Matet de Leon as Ising, the woman who assumed responsibility as Katherine’s mother, Ehra Madrigal as Dr. Katrina, Lilian’s doctor who will fall for Ferdinand, Ernie Garcia as Badong, a small-time crook who will adopt Clarissa, Carla Estrada as Loida, Badong’s ill-tempered wife, Joko Diaz as Berto, Clarissa’s indolent father, Kier Legaspi as Joel, a policeman and Jepoy’s father, Maricar de Mesa as Helena, Charles’ successful yet domineering mother, Shirley Fuentes as Racquel, an abusive lady whom Katherine works for, Victor Aliwalas as Rommel, Ferdinand’s trusted friend, Ella Cruz as Britney, Raquel’s equally condescending daughter, and Ms. Carmen Soriano as Lola Señora, Raquel’s mother who has a soft spot for Katherine.

Despite having different personalities, Mylene (Barbie Forteza) and Clarissa (Joyce Ching) are each other’s best friend. The two are inseparable until a landslide strikes their community, which causes Mylene to suffer from amnesia.

While wearing Mylene’s necklace, Clarissa ends up in a slum area, where she grows up in the care of a family of crooks. Here, she becomes friends with Jepoy (Kristoffer Martin), whose father (Kier Legaspi) sees Clarissa as a bad influence to his son.

Meanwhile, Mylene lives a difficult, new life as Katherine renamed by Ising (Matet de Leon), the woman who saved her from the landslide. After Ising is accused of stealing from the evil Raquel (Shirley Fuentes), Katherine needed to work as a house maid to pay for Ising’s debts and to get her out of prison. Having no memory of her former life, she meets her only friend and confidante in Charles (Joshua Dionisio), the son of their next-door neighbor.

Both girls have learned to accept their fate until Clarissa runs into Ferdinand (Gardo Versoza), who mistakes her for being her missing daughter for she is still wearing Mylene’s necklace. Clarissa sees this as an opportunity to lead a more comfortable life and pretends to be Mylene. She then lives in the Fuentebella mansion, to the dismay of her good friend Jepoy.

By a startling twist of fate, Clarissa then pretending to be Mylene, crosses paths with Charles and develops romantic feelings for him. As she tries to attract Charles, Clarissa points false allegations at Katherine, without realizing that Katherine and her cousin Mylene are one and the same.

When will the secrets about Clarissa’s real identity be revealed? Will Jepoy continue to pursue Clarissa despite her being a new person? Will Charles be able to set Katherine free from all the pains and heartaches? Will Katherine’s memory ever return?

The answers to these questions will be uncovered once more in this original story about hiding and realizing one’s true identity.

Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin, an original teleplay by Dode Cruz, will be reinterpreted by headwriter Kit Villanueva-Langit and director Roderick Lindayag. It will begin airing on October 10 after Pahiram ng Isang Ina on GMA Afternoon Prime.

    Steve Jobs is Dead

    Steve Jobs is Dead

Steve Jobs, who sparked a revolution in the technology industry and then presided over it as Silicon Valley's radiant Sun King, died Wednesday. The incandescent center of a tech universe around which all the other planets revolved, Jobs had a genius for stylish design and a boyish sense of what was "cool."

He was 56 when he died, ahead of his time to the very end.

According to a spokesman for Apple Inc. — the company Jobs co-founded when he was just 21, and turned into one of the world's great industrial design houses — he suffered from a recurrence of the pancreatic cancer for which he had undergone surgery in 2004.

Jobs had taken his third leave of absence from the company in January of this year, and made the final capitulation to his failing health on Aug. 24, when he resigned as Apple's CEO. After 35 years as the soul of Silicon Valley's new machine, that may have been a fate worse than death.

Jobs died only a few miles from the family garage in Los Altos, where he and fellow college dropout Steve Wozniak assembled the first Apple computer in 1976. Jobs transformed the computer from an intimidating piece of business machinery — its blinking lights often caged behind a glass wall — to a device people considered "personal," and then indispensable.

Jobs was the undisputed "i'' behind the iMac, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad, and there was very little about his personality that was lower-case. According to Fortune magazine he was considered "one of Silicon Valley's leading egomaniacs," but Jobs also cultivated a loyal coterie of ergomaniacs — ergonomic designers who created the sleek stable of iHits — whose devotion to him was the centrifugal force holding Apple together. Shares of the company's stock plunged 22 points after Jobs announced his final medical leave on Jan. 17.

"A hundred years from now, when people talk about Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, Gates is going to be remembered for his philanthropy, not technology," said tech forecaster Paul Saffo, "the same way people remember Andrew Carnegie for the money he gave to education, not the fortune he made in steel. But what they're going to say about Steve Jobs is that he led a revolution."

$35 Tablet Computer: India's Answer to Poverty

$35 Tablet Computer: India's Answer to Poverty

    $35 tablet computer called Aakash

    Apple iPad = $365

    Amazon's Kindle Fire tablet = $199

    India's tablet computer = $35

Called the "Aakash", India recently launched what they called the world's cheapest touch-screen tablet computer, priced at just $35.

During the press launch in New Delhi, Kapil Sibal, India’s minister for human resources development, handed out 500 Aakash tablets to a group of students, and invited them to test out the device.

Manufactured by UK-based company DataWind and Indian Institute of Technology (Rajasthan), the $35 basic touch screen tablet can be used for functions like word processing, web browsing and video conferencing. It has a 7-inch touch screen, Android 2.2 OS, a pair of USB ports, 256 megabytes of RAM and has a three-hour battery life.

The Indian government will make a pilot run of 100,000 Aakash tablets available to students and intends to deliver 10 million tablets to students across India over the next few years.

This moves tends to give digital access to students in small towns and villages across India, which lags behind its rivals in connectivity.

"The rich have access to the digital world, the poor and ordinary have been excluded. Aakash will end that digital divide," Sibal said.

A Look into Vilma Santos-Recto’s Multi-faceted Life Tonight in "Anggulo"

    Wednesday, October 05, 2011 12:34 PM

Renowned actress-politician Vilma Santos-Recto is the main feature on Anggulo as she shares different facets of her life tonight on TV5 and Aksyon TV.

From Ate Vi’s very first acting award for Trudis Liit at the age of 9 to her unrivalled stature as the Star for All Seasons, Anggulo traces roots of the legendary actress who has starred in nearly 200 movies, and bagged almost a hundred acting awards. Undoubtedly every actor’s dream screen partner, every actress’ dream co-star, every director’s dream talent, and every producer’s dream box-office star, Ate Vi sustained a five-decade showbiz career, capturing both movie and television audiences.

Beyond the silver screen and boob tube, Ate Vi has extended her personal devotion to the province of Batangas for 13 years now. Being married to congressman-turned-senator Ralph Recto, Vilma shifted gears to governance and public service. She says her priority now is Batangas, where she serves as a second termer governor.

Meanwhile, at home, Ate Vi takes on her real-life role as a mom to actor-TV host Luis Manzano and teenage student Ryan Recto. She makes sure she and husband Ralph spend time together with their kids on weekends. Luis says he’s lucky to have a simple and cool mom, who’s easy to please and fun to be with. Ryan says he has an intelligent and kind mother. On top of it all, Senator Ralph could not imagine being with another woman but Vilma, whom he describes as very nice and beautiful.

NEWS5 chief Luchi Cruz-Valdes and her hardworking reporters Jove Francisco, Ina Zara and Maricel Halili look into the different angles in Vilma Santos-Recto’s life on Anggulo (One Face. Different Views. One Story) this Wednesday after AKSYON JournalisMO on TV5 – aired earlier on Aksyon TV at 8:30pm (Channel 41 in Mega Manila, Channel 29 in Metro Cebu and Davao, Channel 1 on Cignal Digital TV and Channel 59 on Sky Cable).

An All-New “Winnie The Pooh” Charms its Way to the Big Screen

    Wednesday, October 05, 2011 12:31 PM

Walt Disney Animation Studios returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with the endearing animated feature “Winnie the Pooh.” Featuring the timeless charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo…and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail.

Inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art style, “Winnie the Pooh” will be shown soon exclusively at Ayala Malls Cinemas (Glorietta 4 & Greenbelt 3).

“The entire story takes place in the course of a day,” says director Don Hall. “It’s business as usual in the Hundred Acre Wood. Pooh wakes up absolutely famished and he happens to have no honey. So that sets him out on his journey, which is ultimately derailed - first by a contest to find Eeyore a new tail.”

Pooh later finds a note from Christopher Robin that reads: “Gone out. Busy. Back soon.” But then Owl misinterprets the note, proclaiming that the boy has been captured by a creature called a “Backson.” Soon, the whole gang is on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from the imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply hoped to find some honey.

“We always set out to make a movie that will transcend generations - appeal to kids, entertain their teenage brothers and sisters, and make Mom and Dad laugh out loud,” says Executive Producer John Lasseter. “The personalities of A.A. Milne’s characters are so sharply drawn, so elegant in their simplicity, we found that they were amazingly funny before we even made our first story sketch. These are characters most of us have grown up with - characters we all want to introduce to our little ones and rediscover with all the loved ones in our lives.”

“Winnie the Pooh” not only features characters parents love to share with their children, but values and simple joys of life. That sharing among generations is reflective of Walt Disney’s philosophy.

“I do not make films primarily for children,” said of the late Walt Disney. “I make them for the child in all of us, whether we be 6 or 60. Call the child ‘innocence.’ The worst of us is not without innocence, although buried deeply it might be. In my work, I try to reach and speak to that innocence, showing it the fun and joy of living; showing it that laughter is healthy; showing it that the human species, although happily ridiculous at times, is still reaching for the stars.”

Funnyman John Cleese (“Shrek Forever After,” “A Fish Called Wanda”) serves as the narrator for “Winnie the Pooh.” The voice cast features some returning favorites who’ve voiced their characters before: Jim Cummings (“Gnomeo & Juliet,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Shrek”) lends his voice to Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and Travis Oates, who’s provided the voice of Piglet for seven years, returns as the voice of Pooh’s nervous little friend.

The cast also includes Pooh newcomers Bud Luckey (“Toy Story 3”) as the voice of Eeyore, Craig Ferguson (“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”) as the voice of Owl, and Tom Kenny (“SpongeBob SquarePants”) as the voice of Rabbit. Kristen Anderson-Lopez, who also co-wrote original songs for the film (TV’s “The Wonder Pets,” off-Broadway’s “In Transit”) is the voice of Kanga; Wyatt Hall, the 7-year-old son of Director Don Hall, is the voice of Roo; and Jack Boulter is the voice of Christopher Robin.

The film is directed by Stephen Anderson (director, “Meet the Robinsons”) and Don Hall (head of story, “The Princess and the Frog”); Peter Del Vecho (“The Princess and the Frog”) produces. “Winnie the Pooh” is executive-produced by John Lasseter. Robert Lopez (Broadway’s “Avenue Q”) and wife Anderson-Lopez (“In Transit”) provide original songs; the original score is by Henry Jackman (“Kick-Ass,” “Monsters vs. Aliens”).

Actress/musician/singer/songwriter Zooey Deschanel (indie folk band She & Him) provides the vocals for a special rendition of the beloved “Winnie the Pooh” theme song as well as additional songs from the film, including the end-credit song, “So Long,” which she wrote.

Chris Evans Keeps Mum About His number

    Wednesday, October 05, 2011 12:24 PM

Almost in the nude in the upcoming romantic quirky comedy “What’s Your Number?,” Chris Evans keeps mum about his number on women when asked in line with his upcoming sexy romcom opposite Anna Faris.

Evans plays Colin who willingly helps Ally Darling (Faris) in her quest to track past lovers who might happen to be her ideal one. Fun and sexy, Ally dismisses Colin as a potential lover because she sees him as a womanizing lothario rather than marriage material. The movie opens up a lot of questions on adult relationships in the most absurd way possible and Evans shares in the following q&a his thoughts on some of those questions.

Q: What do you think the film has to say about sex?

A: I think the film is is a ‘sexually forward’ film willing to tackle areas that traditional romantic comedies have not explored before. That’s what I love about great movies; they are always going to take chances and risks, and that’s what this film does. The more you can emulate life the better it’s going to be, and this movie really does a good job of taking the funniest parts of adult life and mirroring those back to the audience.

Q: How do you find humanity and warmth in a character like Colin who is a bit of a rogue and a ladies man?

A: That’s what’s great about him. Even though he starts out as a womanizer, at the end of the day I think he’s a good man who has a good heart. He’s at a stage in his life where he’s not looking for commitment, but Anna’s character brings out in him. I think everybody’s looking for a soul mate, for love and a lifelong companion. I don’t care what they say, that’s what people want.

Q: Do you prefer being a single man or do you want to settle down yourself?

A: Oh yes, I want to settle down eventually. These days everyone is liberated. You can do whatever you want to and to some degree that idea is socially acceptable. My philosophy in life is rooted in having no judgments one way or another about how other people choose to live their lives. Be a good person. Whatever you want to do is fine, whether you want to go out and have sex with a thousand women, or whether you want to marry at eighteen and pop out nine babies; just be a good person.

Q: What has it been like to work with Anna Faris?

A: She’s just great. When I signed on to do this film I was ecstatic, because I cannot think of another actress who is funnier than Anna is. She’s hilarious both on and off camera. She’s also very smart, a really clever girl. Anna is always one step ahead and she really does her homework when it comes to acting.

Q: What do you think men can learn from watching women talk about sex and relationships, which they tend to do so frankly and without inhibition?

A: I think men and women really aren’t too dissimilar at the end of the day, at least the women that I know. When you get them alone and talk with them, you suddenly think ‘man, you guys talk about the same stuff we do. This is kind of crazy.’ Any guy that who thinks that doesn’t happen needs to wake up because it sure does. In fact, sometimes women are worse! Guys will make sexual comments in broad strokes, but they don’t go into detail. Girls will give go into extraordinary detail. They really break it down.

Q: What’s your number? (if you want to share that information!)

A: I’m not telling my number! What’s too high and what’s too low? If you’re 18 and you’ve had sex with 30 people that might be a bit high, but if you’re 40 and you’ve had sex with 30 people maybe that’s okay? It really depends on what you’re looking for. Maybe it’s not wrong to have sex with 200 women, who knows? By the way, that is not even close to my number. But I don’t judge; it doesn’t matter to me at all. I think that this movie is trying to express the idea that the preoccupation with people’s numbers is the very thing we need to start letting go of, because it’s an unnecessary judgment.

Q: Is there a broader message that you deliver in the film about sex and romance?

A: I think it says that whenever you do want to stop that part of your life (having different partners) and move on to try to find the person you’re meant to be with, you can do just that. The number of people you’ve slept with in your past should have no bearing on whether or not you’re able to find that one special person. I think there’s an idea people have that if you’ve had sex with too many people, you’re somehow soured and that number will eventually ruin you for true love. That shouldn’t be the case and that’s the message we’re trying to send in our movie: that whenever you’re ready to take the next step, whether you’ve had sex with two or 20, or 200, it shouldn’t matter.

“What’s Your Number” opens today in theaters from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

Amanda's family and friends who gathered in a Seattle hotel room to watch the court proceedings on a big-screen television erupted into shouts of joy and tears when the verdict was announced.

Originally sentenced to 26 years imprisonment, Amanda and Raffaele were both ordered freed after nearly four years in prison

iPhone 5 Launch Didn't Happen, Apple Introduces iPhone 4S Instead

    Wednesday, October 05, 2011 1:02 PM

iPhone 5 Launch Didn't Happen, Apple Introduces iPhone 4S Instead

As we all know now, iPhone 5 launch didn't push through and instead Apple introduced the iPhone 4S.

The news was underwhelming and disappointing to many who were also expecting an iPhone 5. There's also the fact that the iPhone 4S looks almost identical to the iPhone 4. However, there's more than meets the eye, as Apple made a number of changes under the hood to improve on performance, including a faster processor, a more advanced camera, and a new antenna design. In addition, Apple expanded its family to include Sprint and a 64GB model (finally!).

Offering more choice will certainly help Apple's cause, but is there enough to persuade iPhone 4 owners to upgrade? Read on for more about the iPhone 4S and our first impressions and be sure to let us know what you think in the comments section below.

    Processor and battery life

The iPhone 4S features Apple's A5 dual-core 1GHz processor along with a dual-core GPU. Apple says the new chipset will make the iPhone 4S twice as fast and offer graphics performance that is seven times faster than the iPhone 4's. Despite the more powerful processor, the company claims the smartphone will be able to provide 8 hours of talk time over 3G, 14 hours over 2G, 6 hours of browsing over 3G, 9 hours via Wi-Fi, 10 hours of video playback, and 40 hours of music playback.

The performance upgrades are indeed welcome. We're never ones to pass up more speed in a mobile device, and if Apple can make that happen without hampering battery life, then all the better. The promised times are impressive, but manufacturer promises can be just that. Though the Samsung Epic Touch 4G and Motorola Droid Bionic had rated talk times of 8 hours and 10.8 hours, respectively, they actually lasted a less stellar 7 hours each in CNET's lab tests.

During our brief demonstration of the iPhone 4S, the handset did operate smoothly and speedily. We weren't able to test it against the iPhone 4 in a side-by-side comparison to notice exactly how much of a boost the new A5 chip offers, but a change for the better is definitely there.

    Siri

The feature that Apple touted most during the event was the new voice assistant called Siri. It doesn't completely replace the current Voice Control feature, but it certainly does a whole lot more. Basically, Siri is designed to deliver information or follow commands that you give it. For example, you can check the weather, ask for a contact's address, set up a reminder, get directions, and ask for obscure trivia like the height of Mount Everest. You speak with a robotic female voice (you can't change her identity) and access the feature by holding down the Home button.

We used it a few minutes and asked for, among other things, the next day's weather, the mileage between Cupertino, Calif., and Seattle, a reminder to book air tickets to Chicago, and information about the capital of Canada. It responded to most of our questions and commands quickly, but it flaked on finding that Ottawa is the capital of our neighbors to the north (according to Siri, she "didn't have enough information"). We're not sure why that was a problem for her; Siri uses Wikipedia to check facts, and we know that Wikipedia has an article on Ottawa.

Despite the omission, it's a fun and useful feature that we imagine many people will like. The challenge for Apple will be to fully integrate hands-free technology. You will be able to activate Siri with a Bluetooth headset (no word on if you can do it with a wired headset), but we understand that car integration is "coming." Given the abundance of hands-free driving laws, Apple will need to make Siri fully accessible to drivers while they keep both hands on the wheel. Siri will be in beta mode when it launches and will support English, French, and German. More languages will come later.

    Camera

The iPhone 4's 5-megapixel camera was already great, but it's about to get better. The iPhone 4S has an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, f/2.4 aperture lens, and a backside-illuminated CMOS sensor that allows 73 percent more light than the previous sensor and should deliver better low-light performance. A hybrid IR filter is also onboard for better color accuracy. Apple also claims the new camera performs 33 percent faster than the iPhone 4's camera, and the A5 processor has a built-in image processor that adds face detection and 26 percent better auto white balance.

We tried a few indoor shots with the camera and definitely noticed a change from the iPhone 4. In addition to the sharper details, most colors were brighter. We'll have to save our final opinion until we can gauge the camera under several conditions (a sunny day, with a flash, and so on), but we like what we see so far.

Videos also get a boost with the ability to shoot 1080p HD video clips at 30 frames per second and with video stabilization. Yet, even with all the improvements, CNET digital imaging editor Lori Grunin is quick to note that while the iPhone might have a killer camera, it's no camera killer.

    New carrier

Though it received very little attention during Apple's presentation, the addition of Sprint is one of the day's high points. Over the past few weeks, it was pretty obvious the iPhone family would expand, but that doesn't take away from the fact that millions of new people can now join the iOS family without switching carriers. What's more, Sprint is promising that it will keep its unlimited data plans, at least for now. That alone is a big point in the carrier's favor over AT&T and Verizon Wireless. On the other hand, we'll have to see just how the increase in data-hungry users will test Sprint's network and how the carrier's strong Android lineup will withstand the new competition.

Once we get iPhone 4 review devices we'll do a close comparison of how the Sprint models stack up against the AT&T and Verizon versions in both data speed and call quality. But at the very least, we're always glad to see more customer choice.

    Connectivity

As widely reported, the iPhone 4S is a dual-band world phone, meaning it supports both GSM and CDMA. This is more significant for Verizon and Sprint customers, as it will allow them to use the iPhone even if they travel overseas. What's yet to be determined is whether the carriers will unlock the preloaded SIM card, so users can swap it out for a prepaid international SIM card at their destination. We also don't know if the CDMA models will offer simultaneous voice and data over the CDMA network. At present, that's a significant limitation of the Verizon iPhone 4.

Meanwhile, for GSM customers, the iPhone 4S now supports HSPA+ 14.4, so the smartphone is capable of reaching theoretical download speeds of 14.4Mbps down, 5.8Mbps up. It's certainly an improvement over the current model, but disappointing that there's no compatibility with the faster HSPA+ 21Mbps networks.

Of course, the lack of "real" 4G support for LTE on Verizon or WiMax on Sprint is troubling. Apple has its reasons, no doubt. Battery life remains an issue for high-speed phones and Apple must have decided that, at this point, it couldn't offer its optimal customer experience on a 4G handset (remember that customer experience is really what Apple is all about). Secondly, Apple never jumps on a technology that is still growing, and it must think that 4G doesn't cover enough people quite yet.

    Design

As we noted earlier, the iPhone 4S' design is nearly identical to the iPhone 4's. Aside from being 0.1 ounce heavier, the iPhone 4S is exactly the same size as its predecessor. It also features the same 3.5-inch, 960x640-pixel Retina Display with a glass back and front. One thing Apple did redesign, however, is the antenna system. The new design will hopefully prevent another Antennagate situation and Apple says to expect even better call quality.

    Pricing and availability

The iPhone 4S will be available for preorder on October 7; it goes on sale October 14 from AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint in the U.S. It will come in black and white and pricing starts at $199 for the 16GB version, $299 for 32GB, and $399 for 64GB.

    iOS 5

The iPhone 4S will debut with all the features of iOS 5, which is Apple's latest version of its operating system. We tackle that analysis in our separate iOS 5 First Take, so be sure to check it out. In short, it's not a huge upgrade, but we welcome the new features like the advanced notifications and "PC Free."

    So should you buy it?

There's no question that the iPhone 4S offers several attractive new features. Granted, some gadget enthusiasts who've spent months watching the "iPhone 5" rumor mill spin out of control will be disappointed. And in a way, we sympathize. Indeed, the lack of highly anticipated features like 4G and a revamped design can be hard to swallow. But as long as the "antennagate" problems that we saw on the iPhone 4 don't return, we can live without a new design. A bigger display would be nice, but we don't see a real need for a thinner phone. Waiting for 4G is more troubling, but it fits Apple's pattern of staying behind bleeding-edge technology. Android fans may gloat, but Apple fans shouldn't be surprised.

In the end, the decision to buy an iPhone 4S will depend on your current carrier contract. If you aren't eligible for an upgrade with a rebate, then we don't think the new features are worth paying full price. On the other hand, if you can upgrade or if you're a Sprint customer waiting to get your hands on the iPhone for the very first time, then you should consider it. Sure, there's the chance that a better "iPhone 5" will come next June, but that's a long time to wait. What's more, there's no guarantee that Apple will even stick to that schedule. So go ahead and take the chance because in the cell phone world, something better is always around the corner.

    Crazy Ants Attack Mississippi Video

    Crazy Ants Attack Louisiana, Mississippi

Hairy, horrifying, crazy ants moves from Texas to Louisiana, Mississippi causing damage from beehives, could affects agriculture to shorting out industrial equipment.

The ants whose scientific name is Nylanderia pubens, first seen in Florida in the '50s and in Texas in 2002. Now they are moving and posing a threat to Louisiana.

A pest control agency in Sulphur sent a sample of the "hairy crazy ants" to the Louisiana State Arthropod Museum, where curator Victoria Bayless identified the species for the first time in Louisiana and said that the speed of their migration into the rest of Louisiana is unpredictable because of the new climate.

Bayless said the main difference between this species and other ant species is the size of the colonies. A single colony can contain millions of the pests because there are multiple queens, or head ants, that work together.

Hairy crazy ants have also been reported in walls of houses, she said. They can cause electrical shortages as they accumulate in large numbers. Its bite also cause similar allergic reactions to other ant bites.

Bayless further said that hairy crazy ants reproduce rapidly and do not respond to normal pest control methods and researchers have not yet found a way to prevent or get rid of the ants.

    Give yourself prudence

    And love your friends

    Subway kid, rejoice your truth

In the religion of the insecure

I must be myself, respect my youth

A different lover is not a sin

Believe capital H-I-M (hey hey hey)

I love my life I love this record and

    L'amour a besoin la foi

    Repeat chorus + post-chorus

Don't be a drag, just be a queen

    Whether you're broke or evergreen

You're black, white, beige, chola descent

    You're lebanese, you're orient

    Whether life's disabilities

Left you outcast, bullied, or teased

    Rejoice and love yourself today

'Cause baby you were born this way

No matter gay, straight, or bi,

    Lesbian, transgendered life

I'm on the right track baby

I was born to be brave

If you ever leave me, baby,

Leave some morphine at my door

'Cause it would take a whole lot of medication

To realize what we used to have,

    We don't have it anymore.

There's no religion that could save me

No matter how long my leaves are on the floor

So keep in mind all the sacrifices I'm makin'

Will keep you by my side

Will keep you from walkin' out the door.

Cause there'll be no more sunlight

    if I lose you, baby

    There'll be no clear skies

    if I lose you, baby

    Just let the clouds, I

I will do the same if you walk away

    Everyday, it will rain

I'll never be your mother's favorite

Your daddy can't even look me in the eye

Oooh if I was in their shoes, I'd be doing the same thing

Sayin there goes my little girl

    walkin' with that troublesome guy

But they're just afraid of something they can't understand

Oooh well little darlin' watch me change their minds

Yea for you I'll try I'll try I'll try

I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding

    That'll make you mine

Cause there'll be no more sunlight

    if I lose you, baby

    There'll be no clear skies

    if I lose you, baby

    Just like the clouds, I

I will do the same if you walk away

    Everyday, it will rain

    I'll do the same

    goodbye, don't just say, goodbye

I'll pick up these broken pieces 'til I'm bleeding

    That'll make it right

Cause there'll be no more sunlight

    if I lose you, baby

    There'll be no clear skies

    if I lose you, baby

    Just like the clouds, I

I will do the same if you walk away

    Everyday, it will rain
